Hey. I talked to Aurora and she did a Q&A with me because I know people have questions when they arrive. You can add your own if you want. Like a collection of what Aurora said when you asked something.
[ aurora q&a.doc ]
She also said she can change our mission schedule to show us a world that's actively dying when I asked proof for of the multiverse being in danger. I didn't want to make that decision so here's a poll.
She also said she's going to put together the data for how the multiverse is dying.

We can visit a universe that is dying because the multiverse is too big sooner or later.

She also suggested that Tatianna was responsible for the tea.
The sooner we gain access to a world that's actively dying, the more likelihood that we can look for a way to save it. And the more information we can glean from it. I don't see any reason to wait.

and that's fair. But I wonder if we can really get that information from one planet? I guess it would be a good idea to try and prepare somehow. For taking data

Tatianna merits further investigation, don't you think? How is one person able to put out tea like that? There were no obvious signs of drugs; it tasted exactly the same as the tea I usually drink at home. And what is her true goal? Does she really have the information she claims to? If so, what is it, and why does she want 'gossip' in exchange for it?

she said because she doesn't know us. that's why she wants the information

I thought she wanted information on the worlds we were from and what we did there but she didn't ask for that. But it probably helps too

Or perhaps she's meant to be a mission, in a way. She may be testing our skills on behalf of Aurora and Echo, as a way for them to evaluate how we perform when we don't know we're being evaluated.
Someone I spoke to suggested that she was asking for information as way to assert control over us. I suppose that could have something to do with it as well.
'Gossip' is such a broad term, she could be looking for almost anything. Whether she wants information on our worlds and who we were before arriving in this place, or whether she wants information on how we behave while here, she's certainly cast a wide enough net that she's likely to get a bit of everything, even if she doesn't explicitly ask for it.

she could be
maybe. she gave out eggs and a lot of people took them
but i don't know what she's really up to. you can speculate a lot about what she's doing. there's a lot of room for it. i don't think i know better than anyone
[ Especially when this person is giving him a lot of words and it's making him nervous...!! ]

Yes, of course, the eggs. Did yours hatch into anything? Mine hatched into a gun. Eggs don't do that, usually. As far as I'm aware.
no subject
do you like guns?
no subject
Do you know anyone else who did take one? I wonder if they all hatched into something familiar to or well-liked by the recipient.

Why would she give us something beneficial, I wonder? Pure magnanimity? To set us at ease? You're right that we can't truly know. Not without more concrete information.
no subject
it doesn't have to stay beneficial. a lot of things can bond to people and turn on them. and get control over them

We should stay in touch. Share more information as we find it.
My name is Caitlyn, by the way.

I can verify that time stops back home from everything that others who have gone back home and returned here have reported. They say they returned at the point of their abduction, and that they returned without any memory of their time in this place. That means that they must be returned back to their original state, biologically speaking, or else there would probably be a few changes they'd notice. Maybe I'll get a piercing or something to test out the theory in case I'm ever returned home.
I think it's likely that individual missions could be assigned, and that they've been instructed to keep it secret. Many of the group missions have made it apparent that they're meant to have us pitted against each other, either to test our teamwork skills under duress, or just to sow resentment in our population. I had theorized that Tatianna was here to do the same thing, but if we take Aurora at her word, then she's a new entity. The only question that remains is if she is, how did she manage to come through the bubble, and how does she have enough sway over this place? It's all very suspicious.
[ Sorry, Cait. This boy talks a lot. It's a wonder Gorgug ever gets a word in edgewise. ]
Oh. Nice to meet you. Sorry, I should have said that first.

If some of the missions are designed to sow resentment amongst us, to what end? Aurora can't give us any information on the way in which worlds are selected for saving or destruction, so it's impossible to know with any certainty whether all of our worlds can be saved, or only a small fraction of the worlds represented here, or even what percentage of worlds are represented here. Are we meant to try to knock each other out of the running, as it were? Are certain missions designed to encourage us to do so? We'll need to find a way to speak with Echo, if we want to fill in some of the gaps in our understanding. As for Tatianna, we'll need to do more digging into her as well. Has anyone else ever arrived through a process different to the normal one? If she's an entity not brought here by Aurora and not subject to Aurora's jurisdiction, as it were, can Aurora or Echo not simply make her leave? If so, why haven't they, and if not, why not?

Oh. Yes. Nice to meet you as well.

I don't believe that Aurora is telling us the whole truth, but whether she's deliberately lying, was programmed to lie, or was just given half-truths to begin with, I don't know. She doesn't seem actively malicious (and can probably see this discussion, hi Aurora), but if there's one thing I know, you don't necessarily need to be malicious to cause harm. I don't think she's entirely without credibility, though, but I definitely would never take her at face value. I'm kind of surprised most people do. For the rest of it...
I have no idea what the point of it is. It may be to test our bonds to make us even stronger, for all we know. What I can tell you is that so far, we've had at least three missions to sow resentment, and at least three more meant to encourage teamwork of some kind, though some are one and the same. They're not above manipulating our minds to do it. We need more concrete information, because you can't possibly expect most people to help other people save their worlds while sacrificing your own, which seems to be the implication here. We also know there are others like us out there, just with different missions. We could be pit against each other, city vs city.
Tatianna is worrisome, and the first evidence we've had of people being able to enter without Aurora or Echo's permission, which is both a good and a bad thing. Good news being, they're not all-powerful after all. Bad news being, she kind of sucks and is super suspicious. Not all people here came the same way. Some people came here through a spaceship, not the hospital. You can ask Gorgug more about that. That's how he came in. But that still doesn't explain Tatianna.
